1. Overview

The Group Chat ("we," "us," "our") provides an online service that generates AI-written reviews of dating-app profiles. By purchasing or using The Group Chat, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use The Group Chat. The service is intended for adults using mainstream dating applications. By using the service you confirm you are 18 or older.

3. What we provide

Upon purchase, you may upload screenshots of a dating-app profile and receive one or more AI-generated written reviews, delivered on-screen and as a downloadable PDF. Reviews are generated using a third-party large language model (Anthropic's Claude) via API. Reviews are opinions and suggestions intended to help you improve your profile; they are not guarantees of any outcome, including any dating, matching, or relationship result.

4. AI-generated content; no professional advice

Reviews provided by The Group Chat are generated by artificial intelligence. They are automated opinions and suggestions only. They are not professional advice of any kind — including but not limited to relationship, psychological, medical, legal, or career advice — and should not be relied upon as such. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or mistaken, and may not reflect your individual circumstances. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on a review. The Group Chat makes no guarantee of any result, including any match, date, response, or relationship outcome. By using the service you acknowledge that the reviews are AI-generated and accept them on that basis.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to upload only profile screenshots and content that (a) are your own, or that you have permission to submit, and (b) do not contain content involving minors, illegal content, or another person's private information. You confirm any individuals depicted are adults. You may not use the service to harass, impersonate, or harm others. We may decline to process submissions that violate these Terms.

6. Purchases and payment

Payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout page; we never receive or store your full card information. We offer one-time purchases only; there are no subscriptions. Prices are shown at checkout. By purchasing, you also agree to Stripe's applicable terms.

7. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Intellectual property

The review text generated for you is provided for your personal use. The Group Chat name, branding, website, and reviewer personas are our property and may not be copied or reused without permission.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reviews will meet your expectations. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the purchase giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date reflects the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
