This Privacy Policy explains what information The Group Chat ("we," "us," "our") collects and how we handle it.

2. Information we collect

  • Profile screenshots and text you upload in order to receive a review.
  • Order and contact information (such as your email address) collected by our payment processor when you make a purchase.
  • Basic technical data automatically generated when you use the site (such as standard server logs).

3. How we use your information

  • Profile screenshots and text are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate your review.
  • Order and contact information is used to process your purchase and provide customer support.

4. Photo handling

Profile screenshots you upload are used only to generate your review and are not stored on our servers. They are transmitted to Anthropic's API for processing as part of generating your review and are not retained by us afterward. We do not sell, share, or use your photos for any other purpose, including training or marketing.

5. Generated reviews

The text of your generated review is stored temporarily so that you can re-access it for a limited period (approximately 12 hours) after purchase. After that window it is no longer available.

6. Third-party services

We rely on third-party providers to operate:

  • Anthropic — processes your uploaded content to generate reviews.
  • Stripe — our payment processor, which collects and handles payment and contact information under its own privacy policy.
  • Vercel — our hosting provider.

Each of these providers handles data under its own privacy policy.

7. Data retention

Uploaded photos are not retained. Generated review text is retained only for the short re-access window described above. Order information is retained by our payment processor as required for its records and legal obligations.

8. Your choices

Because we do not retain your photos and store review text only briefly, there is limited personal data for us to hold. For questions about order data, or to make a privacy request, contact us at the email below. For payment-related data, you may also contact Stripe directly.

9. Children

The service is for adults (18+) only. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy; the "last updated" date reflects the current version.
